We all have come down with MANANA

To all my followers, SORRY, I have not been at the keyboard lately. We all have a serious dose of manana, which we caught just after arriving in Spain.

They have been trying liquid cures, none of which seem to have worked, in fact they are worse. Me, I keep in the shade and try not to do much !. Difficult at times cos there a quite a number of mates on site and most are girls, so dads say I have been acting a bit strange lately, and getting a bit stroppy, well I get distracted with so many scents !

The extent of our exercise is mainly our 3 - 4 walks along the beach each day. Although they did take the Little Red Car up into the mountains WITHOUT ME, to see the local area, they said. When they got back they we chatting, they had been to a new shopping complex, at Lorca, which they had seen advertised on a big sign on the roadside. When they got there, they thought it was strange there were so many workmen there. A man at the entrance said "ahead" when Guy said the name of the complex. Only problem was he thought they were two more workers for the site - it was still being built !. They did say the trip into the mountains was great, and there would have been more to see, if they had taken time.

We have had a bit of mixed weather, but its seems to have settled. Had a couple of days with showers, and cloudy periods, but not bad enough to make us eat indoors. Now is blue skies, very little cloud and daytime 20 - 26 deg. It is nice for me cus at night it goes down to 9 - 10deg, so cool to sleep, dads said they like it like this too, but they would sleep through a war, after taking the anaesthetic !

Nearly caught napping !

Have been out a few times with them in The Little Red Car, they leave the window down so I can get my fur in the wind. We all hate one spot on the way home, a black dog was killed there about a week ago, and its still at the road side every time we pass. But the car has a far better use, which is what I am sure they really got it for - a Sun Shade. It's parked at the back of Priscilla and it keeps the sun from heating the ground, and me during the day, its a great idea they had ! (Its was also liked by a local bug that dopped in while passing )

Big enough to BBQ !

We have a Swiss couple parked next to us, and they came to tell me they can understand me, cos they come from the Bernese Oberland as my ancestors did, will have to use one of my other language skills. I am trying to learn German as one of my "girls" only understands it, but we seem to be ok with the basics !!

Some of our walks have been up to the next village Isla Plana, which has some very nice houses, and there a so many for sale, the locals on site say that the market is so bad we should look for BOGOF deals, there's even a new castle been built in the middle of the development, it takes all sorts as I say.

Everyone's happy, they have found a true English Butcher, so no more meat cut with a Black & Decker. They had his own home baked meat pies for dinner, and they said they were as good as the ones they get from our bakers in Navenby - so that's good. There's been some activity clearing the garage out, so they can get the microwave cooker set up, there's more room now that two of the 10 lt wine boxes they got 2 weeks ago are about to run out, but then they have stocked up with some big bottles of what they call the 5 o'clock bubbles, what ever keeps them happy !

Anyway the manana seems to be coming back, so I need to go and rest awhile in the shade of the Little Red Car.........

More when we recover !
